.illustration for a paleontology module I had last year. The squid below is the ancient ancestor of todays vampire squid or (Vampyroteuthis infernalis. The shark In the Illustration is a Megalodon, ancestor to the Great White Shark. The media I used in this Illustration was Derwent 'Graphitint water soluble' pencils, to best represent the water whilst maintaining a decent amount of detail.
